This quote (sometimes attributed to Woody Allen) has been cropping up a lot in my thoughts lately. With two young children, there are plenty of days when I don’t feel like walking downstairs to the office and translating a few more pages of the two novels I’m working on. Mainly because I’m waiting for the perfect day to come along when I’ve slept well, don’t have a headache, and feel on top of my game.
Then I think that now’s the time to chip away at things. And to show up.
